Today our school paused for a brief moment of silence to honor and remember those impacted by September 11th, 2001. Teachers also spoke briefly with students about the meaning of this day in ways that are age-appropriate for their grade level.
“Even in the darkest times, kindness and courage shine brightest. May this moment remind us of the strength in community and care for one another.”
We wanted you to be aware in case your child comes home with questions or reflections. Thank you for partnering with us in supporting your children as they learn about important moments in history.
